The Springs of Pine Bluff is seeking a compassionate Social Service Director to lead our Social Services Department and support residents’ medical, emotional, and social needs. This role reports to our leadership team and drives regulatory compliance and person-centered care.

You will oversee discharge planning, assessments, and individualized social care plans, while coordinating staff and collaborating with families, healthcare providers, and community partners to ensure high-quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field is required.
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Compassionate approach and ability to advocate for residents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor social service programs that meet all regulatory requirements
• Support discharge planning, resident assessments, and individualized social care plans
• Collaborate with residents, families, healthcare providers, and community organizations
• Coordinate department functions and manage social services staff
• Ensure compliance, resident rights, confidentiality, and quality standards
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and handle social services emergencies
