Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a growing organization with a social mission to offer hope, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our award-winning Special Education team and provide high-quality speech therapy services in a student-centered setting.

The SLP will develop and implement evidence-based plans, collaborate with families and school teams, attend IEP meetings, and monitor progress to improve communication skills for designated students in California.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in speech-language pathology.
• CA SLP credential (or in process)
• Experience with children in special education/behavioral health settings.
• Familiar with IEP processes and data-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech therapy services tailored to individual students.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with families, educators and districts; attend IEP meetings.
• Maintain accurate case records, progress notes and billing within deadlines.
• Monitor progress with data-driven methods and report outcomes.
• Provide supervision and guidance in home and community settings when appropriate.
