Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's preferred.
• Valid California Teaching Credential and Speech-Language Pathology Specialist Credential.
• Bilingual (Spanish) or sign language desirable.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and Medi-Cal billing is beneficial.
• Experience with autism or challenging behavior helpful.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify speech and language needs.
• Design and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s goals and state criteria.
• Deliver targeted individual or group speech therapy sessions.
• Consult with parents, school personnel, psychologists, and support teams.
• Maintain accurate IEP records and Medi-Cal billing in alignment with state standards.
