Job summary

Southside ISD Special Programs is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to plan and provide therapy to students with speech, voice, or language disorders within assigned campuses in San Antonio, TX. The role reports to the Director of Special Programs and requires strong assessment and intervention skills in an educational setting.

The position emphasizes collaboration with educators, adherence to district policies, and providing individualized interventions aligned with IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Texas SLP license/certificate must be valid.
• National Provider Identification Number.
• Bachelor’s degree as alternative qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides speech-language therapy services to students with speech or language disorders.
• Assesses students and provides therapeutic intervention to address impairments.
• Participates in ARD committee and collaborates with teachers to support IEP goals.
• Maintains confidentiality and completes required reports and records.
• Supervises or coordinates with licensed speech-language pathology assistants as needed.
