Job summary

The Resource Exchange seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers, utilizing family-centered practices to support development. You will assess needs, implement IFSP-based interventions, and collaborate with a transdisciplinary team in natural environments.

Required MA/MS in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC-SLP/Dora licensure; experience with young children or in early intervention is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: One to Three years experience working with young children with disabilities or delays, including infants and toddlers.
• Preferred: Five years working with young children in a transdisciplinary team model.
• Education: MA/MS in Speech-Language Pathology. CCC-SLP/Dora licensure. Knowledge of Part C of IDEA, natural environments and daily routines, evaluation techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of speech/language, communication and assistive technology/adaptive equipment needs when requested by the IFSP team.
• Complete on-going assessment according to system policy.
• Assess complex feeding, swallowing, oral motor, and sensory-motor skills related to infant and early childhood feeding development.
• Provide evidence-based feeding interventions and caregiver coaching for infants and toddlers experiencing feeding, swallowing, oral motor, breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and transition-to-food challenges.
