Job summary

North Suffolk Community Services seeks a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Early Childhood team. You will coordinate and provide early intervention services to children birth through three and their families in home, program, or community settings.

The role requires a Master’s degree, CCC, MA licensure (or CF year), and at least 2 years of experience with young children, including pediatric feeding.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• CCC certification and MA licensure required or in CF year prior to CCC.
• CEIS certification within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with young children.
• Pediatric feeding/infant experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Access to reliable transportation for off-site appointments.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children birth through three years old in need of services.
• Provide individual and group therapy and share expertise with clients and staff.
• Conduct clinical assessments, evaluations, diagnoses and treatments.
• Administer and interpret testing and prepare reports.
• Provide home teaching and family support; as Service Coordinator, case management.
