Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students with communication needs under a supervising SLP in Fort Worth, TX. The role includes evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with the SLP to implement therapy plans.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Communications Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology, Texas licensure, CPR certification, and promotes flexible scheduling with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensure as an Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology with Texas TDLR.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and intervention with the supervising SLP to support speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Implement therapy activities and intervention plans to meet students’ needs.
• Monitor AAC devices and ensure effective functionality for students.
• Record and document student progress, observations and outcomes to support IEP goals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and advocate for students’ communication needs.
