Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of professional, certified teaching experience.

• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training every two years.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• Ability to align curriculum and assessments with state standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a Professional Learning Community.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one settings.
• Develop, plan, prepare, and implement course content and lessons.
• Administer, edit, and grade assignments and assessments.
• Design diverse assessments and provide meaningful feedback.
• Create a supportive classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Monitor student growth and document progress and needs.
• Communicate progress and needs with parents/guardians and staff.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to improve outcomes.
• Participate in department, team, and district meetings and conferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
