Qualifications

• Colorado teaching license required with Special Education endorsement.
• Minimum of three years of certified teaching experience.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training completed biennially.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one settings daily.
• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans and lesson content.
• Assess, edit, and grade student work regularly.
• Create diverse assessment tasks and use results to adjust instruction.
• Establish a safe classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Monitor student progress and document growth and needs.
• Communicate progress and needs with families and staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators to improve outcomes.
• Attend meetings, conferences, and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
