Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and state-certified teaching credentials required.
• Three years of professional, certified teaching experience.
• CDE teaching license and SPED endorsement required.
• Biennial Crisis Prevention Intervention training required.
• Ability to align curriculum with state standards and improve student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one settings.
• Develop and implement course content, format, structure, and individualized programs.
• Administer, edit, and grade student assignments and assessments.
• Design assessments and use data to guide instruction.
• Create a positive classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Monitor student growth and maintain progress documentation.
• Communicate student progress with parents and staff as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to improve outcomes.
• Participate in department, team, meetings, conferences, and professional growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
