Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff. You will assist in curriculum delivery, behavior strategies, and progress tracking, both in classroom and online settings.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, monitoring progress, and providing technical physical care as needed, with emphasis on safety and inclusivity for students with Autism, SED, and related needs.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
• No professional work experience required
• Title I assignments require education or equivalent standards
• Crisis Prevention Intervention training required
• Medication administration training required
• Microsoft Office basic knowledge
• Verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to modify curriculum and implement behavior strategies

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs

• Support online/remote learning and technology troubleshooting
