Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is representing a well-resourced SEN school in Epping seeking a patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. The role covers both primary and secondary pupils with diverse needs, providing 1:1 and small group support in a nurturing setting.

The ideal candidate will support communication and emotional regulation, follow EHCP targets, and work closely with teachers and external professionals to promote learning and personal development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.
• Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
• Maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment.
• Encourage independence, confidence and social development.
