Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two or more years teaching experience preferred.
• Louisiana Teacher Certification preferred or in progress.
• Proven success with under-served students.
• Content-area expertise and strong classroom management.
• Ability to collaborate with school team, families, and community.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement rigorous unit and engaging lesson plans.
• Create a structured, achievement-oriented learning environment and build positive rapport with students.
• Use student data to drive instruction, reteaching, and interventions.
• Model InspireNOLA core values in all interactions with students and families.
• Proactively manage student behavioral issues and follow school policies.
• Participate in structured and informal professional development sessions and feedback loops.
• Engage in school-based professional development and data review meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
