Job summary

LEARN Academy is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication needs within the educational setting. You will evaluate student abilities, create and implement therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to meet IEP goals.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, and participating in team meetings to ensure services align with least restrictive environment and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC or CF credential preferred and eligible to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' communication abilities.
• Develop and implement speech-language therapy treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate speech-language strategies into curriculum.
• Contribute to IEP processes by reporting on student progress and recommending interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and progress.
• Provide trainings to instructional staff on speech and language strategies.
