Job summary

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Detroit, MI. You will support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional skills within a school setting.

Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, families, and related service providers to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, provide counseling, and monitor progress. This role emphasizes confidentiality, adherence to school policies, strong documentation, and a commitment to helping

Qualifications

• Active credential/license for Michigan required.
• Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Experience with children or adolescents preferred.
• School-based and/or special education experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of psychoeducational assessment and special education processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed.
• Ability to meet all applicable school, licensing, and employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide individual and/or small-group counseling and social-emotional support.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Develop recommendations and strategies to support student success.
• Monitor and document student progress and provide appropriate reports.
• Consult with school staff regarding behavioral interventions and student needs.
