Job summary

TSP Ed Co in Highland, MI is seeking a School Psychologist to support students in a school setting. You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, help develop IEPs, provide counseling, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote student success.

This role emphasizes confidentiality, strong documentation, and coordination with the educational team. A MI-appropriate credential and a Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology are required.

Qualifications

• Active School Psychologist credential/license appropriate for Michigan
• Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
• School-based and/or special education experience is a plus
• Knowledge of psychoeducational assessment and special education processes
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
• Ability to meet all applicable school, licensing, and employment requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
• Support development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide individual and/or small-group counseling and social-emotional support
• Support students with behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop recommendations and strategies to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress and provide appropriate reports
• Consult with school staff regarding behavioral interventions and student needs
• Maintain student confidentiality and follow all policies
