AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Monroe, MI to hire a School Psychologist to support students with IEPs and the general population. This role involves counseling, assessments, and collaboration with educators and families to foster positive outcomes.

The position supports crisis intervention, development of IEPs/504 Plans, and outreach with community resources. Travel assignments are typically 13 weeks with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Psychologist with MI licensure (PSY-MI) required.
• Experience in school settings preferred; new grads accepted.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths.
• Develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans for students.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional and behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed.
• Coordinate outreach with pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and related services.
