Job summary

CAPITOL REGION EDUCATION COUNCIL (CREC) is seeking a full-time licensed RN to support the River Street Autism Program in Bloomfield, CT. The role focuses on health assessments, implementing health plans, and removing health-related barriers to learning.

The RN will work 8:00am–4:30pm, year-round, collaborating with the health team and education staff to promote student well-being and safety in the school setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Connecticut.
• Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform health assessments and develop health plans.
• Maintain health data and support learning by addressing health barriers.
• Serve as health team specialist on IEP development.
• Provide crisis intervention for acute illness or injuries.
• Promote immunization programs and communicable disease surveillance.
• Educate students and staff on health topics and wellness.
