Job summary

League School for Autism in Walpole, MA is seeking a School Nurse (RN) for our residential program, Monday through Friday 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The role provides health monitoring, staff coordination, and medical oversight for students.

Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Nursing and MA RN license, plus two years' nursing experience, CPR/First Aid. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $89,250 to $94,350 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Valid MA RN license; DESE School Nurse license a plus.
• LPN with MA certification considered with relevant experience.
• Two years’ nursing experience including supervision.
• CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and completion of a school health orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and safety of students and coordinate staff actions.
• Manage a comprehensive school/residential health program per MA guidelines.
• Prepare medications and train staff in administration.
• Coordinate state-m mandated programs and health surveillance.
• Maintain health records and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Provide medical emergency coverage 7 days per week.
• Coordinate in-service trainings for CPR, First Aid, and medication administration.
• Oversee safety and health needs across locations and staff.
