Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by SBESLPA or TEA certificate.
• Satisfactory fingerprinting background check required.
• Knowledge of tests and measurements to assess communication disorders.
• Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders.
• Ability to instruct and manage student behavior.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent evaluations and provide therapies aligned with IEP goals.
• Develop clinical management strategies and diagnostic statements.
• Participate in ARD committee and interpret assessment data.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement classroom activities.
• Provide professional development to school personnel.

• Coordinate ongoing evaluation of services and maintain records.
