Job summary

School Of Science & Technology is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in San Antonio, TX, to deliver high-quality speech therapy services and ensure full compliance with TEA regulations.

You will review and implement IEPs, collaborate with teachers and parents, and monitor student progress to update goals and requests for evaluations as necessary. The role requires Texas licensure and ASHACCC, with full-time hours in the school setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• National Certification of Clinical Competence (ASHA)

Responsibilities

• Review IEPs and ensure 100% implementation of knowledge and provide top quality speech therapy services.
• Create IEPs aligned to instruction with collaboration of parents and educators.
• Monitor students’ therapy and progress to update goals and request additional testing as needed.
• Ensure 100% compliance with ARDs by reviewing student rosters and due dates weekly.
• Schedule ARDs and Re-Evaluation ARDs before due dates to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate ARDs with Diagnostician and other specialists to ensure compliance.
• Schedule and update presentations and service plans per student progress.
• Maintain therapy notes and logs daily and review with SPED Director weekly.
• Submit therapy logs quarterly to SPED Coordinator.
• Complete progress reports quarterly and report evaluation results within TEA timeframes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
