Job summary

BASIS Ed in the Dallas area is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our talented Exceptional Student Services team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on delivering high-quality therapy, coordinating IEPs, and partnering with campus leaders to close communication gaps.

Applicants must hold a Master’s in Communication Disorders, Texas licensure as a SLP, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (CFY accepted).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
• Valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist (TDLR).
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required; CFY interns accepted.

Responsibilities

• Review IEPs to ensure 100% implementation of speech therapy services.
• Coordinate ARD timelines and facilitate ARD meetings.
• Collaborate with diagnosticians, LSSPs, and OTs for comprehensive evaluations.
• Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations of speech and language disorders.
• Maintain Therapy Notes, tracking logs, ARD logs, and quarterly progress reports.
• Support RTI initiatives across school tiers with evidence-based interventions.
