Job summary

BASIS Ed is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Dallas Metro Area team. The SLP will deliver targeted therapy, manage IEPs, and guide ARD timelines to support student outcomes in BASIS Texas Charter Schools.

The role involves collaboration with teachers, diagnosticians, and campus leaders to design effective learning environments and data-driven strategies for communication and academic growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders required.
• Valid Texas SLP license by TDLR.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required or CFY accepted.
• Experience with IEPs and ARD processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review IEPs to ensure 100% implementation of speech therapy services.
• Lead ARD meetings and ensure compliance timelines.
• Collaborate with Diagnosticians, LSSPs, and OT for evaluations.
• Conduct initial and re-evaluations of speech and language.
• Maintain daily therapy notes and quarterly progress reports.
