Job summary

Uplift Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation and therapy services in a Dallas-area school district. The role involves working with parents, teachers, and administrators to determine eligibility and support services under IEP guidelines.

The SLP will complete evaluations, create IEP goals, supervise SLP-A staff when needed, and participate in ARD meetings to align instructional strategies with student needs and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Texas license as a speech-language pathologist.
• Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform all speech and language evaluations for students to identify eligibility for Special Education services.
• Write Full and Individual Evaluation reports per state regulations and professional standards.
• Collaborate with ARD Committee to develop instructional strategies for students’ needs.
• Plan and provide appropriate individual and group therapy to students per IEP goals.
• Document student progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
