Job summary

TX-STAR Speech Language Services is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based opportunities in the Dallas area. This role involves assessing and supporting students with communication needs, developing therapy plans, and collaborating with teachers and parents. Ideal candidates must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, an active Texas SLP license, and strong communication skills. Flexible full-time and part-time schedules are available, along with a supportive work culture and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required.
• Active Texas SLP license is mandatory.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct therapy services to students.

Skills

Strong understanding of IEP processes

Clinical experience with pediatric or school-based populations

Strong communication and organizational skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active Texas SLP license

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
