Job summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at BASIS Ed will join the Exceptional Student Services team in the San Antonio area to design and deliver targeted therapy that closes speech and language gaps. You will collaborate with campus leaders, teachers, and families to set goals, track progress, and ensure compliance with IDEA/TEA guidelines.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders, Texas TDLR licensure, CCC-SLP, and CFY accepted.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders required.
• Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist (TDLR) required.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA preferred; CFY applicants accepted.

Responsibilities

• IEP management and delivery with 100% implementation of services.
• Ensure ARD timelines and document Annual/Re-Evaluation ARDs.
• Collaborate with Diagnosticians, LSSPs, and Occupational Therapists for dual ARDs.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations.
• Maintain Therapy Notes, Tracking Logs, ARD Logs, and quarterly progress reports.
• Support RTI implementation across school levels.
