Job summary

ProMedica Health System is seeking a School-based Speech Language Pathologist to support Springfield Local School in Holland, Ohio. You will collaborate with students, families and interdisciplinary professionals to develop and implement IEPs, focusing on enhancing functional and academic skills within the school setting.

You will administer speech-language treatment programs, rehabilitate communication disorders, and work with the team to establish goals and care plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current License as Speech-Language Pathologist in the practicing state is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the ASHA is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, families and school professionals to develop and implement IEPs.
• Develop and administer speech-language treatment programs to address communication, swallowing and cognitive-linguistic disorders.
• Evaluate patients and perform assessments throughout rehabilitation.
• Set goals and establish the plan of care with patient and team.
• Support students' functional, academic and developmental skills within the school environment.

Education

Current License as Speech-Language Pathologist in State of practice
