Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for per diem shifts in the Eidi Family Rehabilitation Center. You will develop and administer rehabilitation programs, evaluate patients, and work with families and the care team to set goals and plans of care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current licensure in the state, CCC-SLP, and CPR. This is a per diem daytime position within the Rehab Center Therapies department.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current State licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
• CPR certification desirable.

Job Summary: Through developing and administering speech-language treatment programs, a Speech Language Pathologist works to facilitate rehabilitation of communication, swallowing and cognitive-linguistic disorders. You will work with the patient, family members and your team to establish the plan of care and establish goals. In this role, you will evaluate your patient and perform assessments throughout the patient’s rehabilitation. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current License as Speech-Language Pathologist in State of practice
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the America Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• CPR
