Job summary

Springfield City Schools invites a Speech Language Pathologist to join our district for the 2026-27 school year. We serve approximately 7,500 Pre-K through 12 students across 17 state-of-the-art buildings in west-central Ohio, with a 1:1 initiative and YouMedia Center supporting rich learning experiences.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Ohio SLP license (OBSLPA/ODE) or is CFY eligible, has a Master's degree, and can deliver direct and consultative services, document therapy progress, and

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio SLP license from OBSLPA and ODE, or CFY eligible.
• Expertise in the identification and implementation of a speech-language therapy program.
• Master's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality therapy to preschool (3-5 years) and/or K-12 programs district wide.
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, staff and families.
• Maintain complete and accurate therapy records and comply with ETR and IEP timelines.
• Maintain positive interpersonal relationships and believe in teamwork.
• Organize assignments and time without compromising quality of service to achieve maximum student academic performance.
• Continually achieve personal and professional development.
