Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking an onsite School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to support district partners this school year and beyond. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders while developing IEPs and providing direct therapy in individual and group settings.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and families, thorough documentation, and active participation in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Active OH SLP license or eligibility prior to start preferred.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and therapy documentation.

Job description

We’re seeking an experienced, onsite School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to join our district partners this school year and beyond! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting students’ growth and independence in the school setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in the state of OH (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
  • Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays
