Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking an Early Education Occupational Therapist to join our team in Flat Rock, MI for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role focuses on preschool-aged students, supporting development of fine motor, sensory, self-care, and classroom participation.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers with strong mentorship and clinical support from AnthroMed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible Michigan OT licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Preschool/school-based experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services primarily to preschool-aged students, supporting fine motor, sensory, self-care, visual-motor, and school participation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with a variety of developmental and educational needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers to promote student success.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and sensory strategies to improve participation in classroom and school routines.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and complete required Medicaid and IEP paperwork.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful recommendations regarding student needs and services.
