Citadel At Casa Scalabrini in Northlake, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their caregiving team. The RN assumes responsibility for a group of residents or a shift, delivering licensed nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each resident's plan of care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, supervising CNAs, documenting care, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college.
• Possess a current license to practice in Illinois as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Provide and receive nursing reports at shift start and end.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and resident rooms.
• Direct and supervise CNA services for assigned unit.
• Record vital signs, administer medications and IV therapy as ordered.
• Transcribe physician orders to charts and MAR.
• Chart nurses notes reflecting care and resident responses.
• Count controlled drugs with another nurse at shift change and report discrepancies.
• Ensure a safe environment and address hazards.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed for safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
