Citadel At Saint Benedict seeks a Registered Nurse to join their team. The RN is responsible for a group of residents per shift, providing nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

The role requires current Illinois RN licensure and CPR, with preferred one year of experience and long-term care exposure. Full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth within Citadel Healthcare Facilities.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse (Illinois).
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Provides and receives nursing reports at shift changes.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and treatment rooms.
• Directs and supervises day-to-day CNA services.
• Performs vital signs, IV therapy, and basic respiratory care as ordered.
• Transcribes physician orders to charts and MAR.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered.
• Documents nursing notes reflecting care provided and patient responses.
• Counts controlled drugs with shift nurse and reports discrepancies.
• Maintains a safe environment and addresses safety hazards.
• Admits, transfers and discharges residents as needed to meet individual needs.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
