Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in diverse acute settings. The RN is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, working with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification
• BSN required at 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and outcomes.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement activities for quality and safety.
• Operations - Performs daily operations as part of unit team.
