Job summary

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator to ensure high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of unit functions across shifts. You will collaborate with the nursing leadership to monitor care and support staff to uphold our standards and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Implements nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Recommends and implements actions for training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
