Job summary

Community Hospital North in Oklahoma City is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse Case Manager to coordinate care from admission through discharge, and to lead the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires Oklahoma RN licensure, a BSN (preferred) and at least three years of hospital-based nursing with case management experience. BLS within 30 days of hire is required. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current Licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
• BSN or related health field preferred but not required.
• Minimum of three years hospital-based nursing practice with experience in utilization/case management.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management services to patients according to policy and procedure.
• Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, etc.
• Ability to take direction and follow through to promote efficiency.
• Ability to set priorities and advocate for patient interests.
• Maintains knowledge of billing, payor contracts, and reimbursement issues.
• Demonstrates competency in performing the job duties and ongoing professional development.
