Job summary

Abrazo Health in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit with patient-centered planning and direct bedside support. The role involves coordinating with the care team, supervising staff, and ensuring safety through nursing processes and daily rounding.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, Arizona RN license, and NICU-related experience with required certifications.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or obtain within six months of hire.
• Two years of Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
• Arizona RN license with CPR; ACLS as required by facility/department.
• ER/ICU/Endoscopy/Tele/Cardiac Cath Lab/L&D ACLS or PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit.
• Coordinate care planning with disciplines and supervise support staff.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
• Implement orders and monitor patient status for safety and outcomes.
• Participate in hourly rounding and quality improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned by the hospital.
