Job summary

Abrazo Health in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit. You will coordinate care planning with interdisciplinary teams and supervise other staff during shifts while applying the nursing process to achieve patient goals.

Responsibilities include assessing diverse patient needs, implementing medical orders, and contributing to safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Arizona RN license; CPR; ACLS as applicable.
• ACLS/PALS/ENPC as required by department.
• NRP for L&D/postpartum per orientation.
• Wound care or bariatrics certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural needs at admission and ongoing.
• Plan care with other disciplines and set patient-centered outcomes.
• Direct bedside nursing care and supervise other staff on shifts as needed.
• Evaluate nursing practice quality and participate in hourly rounding.
• Follow safety guidelines and be prepared to lead shifts when required.
