Abrazo Health is seeking a Registered Nurse at Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital to deliver professional nursing care on a designated unit and coordinate care planning with other disciplines. You will supervise staff, assess patient needs, and ensure safe, evidence-based practice across shifts.

The role emphasizes bedside care, adherence to the nursing process, and active involvement in hourly rounding and patient safety. A strong team focus and commitment to professional development are essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• State RN license to practice in Arizona; CPR/ACLS as applicable by facility/department.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determines nursing diagnosis based on patient assessment and data analysis.
• Sets practical, realistic patient outcome goals with input from patient and family.
• Individualizes the plan of care based on patient needs and circumstances.
• Implements nursing and medical orders and assures they are appropriate to the patient’s status.
• Other tasks assigned at the hospital.
