Job summary

Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity is seeking a ReStore Manager to run daily operations in Cedar Rapids. You will lead the team in acquiring, pricing, marketing, and selling donated and purchased building materials to meet sales targets and fund our housing programs.

Responsibilities include supervising receiving, inventory, merchandising, scheduling, training, and safety; building donor and contractor relationships; and reporting results to the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in retail management or equivalent.
• Cursory knowledge of building materials preferred.
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday with some evening hours.
• Experience in customer service, budgeting, purchasing, and merchandising.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Promote donations, drive sales and profits to fund programs.
• Develop marketing and advertising to boost ReStore visibility.
• Oversee inventory management and purchasing of merchandise.
• Schedule staff and volunteers, and manage events.
• Ensure store, restrooms, and warehouse are clean and safe.
• Hire and train staff and volunteers; set performance goals.
• Prepare monthly sales and expense reports.
• Collaborate with other ReStore managers for best practices.
• Develop and monitor pricing strategies.
