Job summary

National Children’s Center, Inc. seeks a Residential House Manager in Washington, DC to oversee safety, welfare, and daily operations of residents in our residential program.

The role requires supervising Direct Support Professionals, coordinating care with nursing and program teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate billing documentation. You will be on-call 24/7 and work on-site to support residents’ growth and independence.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Two years of experience working with people with disabilities.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of residents according to their plan of care.
• Coordinate medical appointments and liaise with nursing staff.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and coordinate staffing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Administer medication to residents as needed.
• Complete attendance, billing notes, and related documentation.

Skills

CPR/First Aid

Education

High School diploma or GED with two years of cumulative experience

Associate’s degree in Human Services

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field
