Job summary

Intermountain Centers is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide direct care in residential or inpatient Behavioral Health settings and in the community, implementing Intermountain’s behavior program.

The role includes data collection, adherence to licensing, and transportation of members. Regular meetings and mandatory trainings are part of the position, with opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Six months of related experience preferred; 6 weeks of verifiable supervised behavioral health work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to members' physical and self-care needs and report abuse when required.
• Implement treatment goals and behavior support plans.
• Collect and document reliable behavior data and daily reports.
• Transport members to community appointments and maintain vehicle documents.
• Follow medication protocols and conduct client medication training.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients.
• Observe members to ensure safety and participation in activities.
• Attend CFT/ART and staff meetings as assigned.
• Complete all required licensing and agency trainings.
• Maintain attendance records and submit weekly hours.
• Perform physical de-escalation as needed.
