Job summary

Intermountain Centers seeks a Behavior Technician to provide direct care and supervision in residential/inpatient settings and in the community, implementing the agency’s applied behavioral program.

You will support members with daily living, implement treatment goals, collect data, and attend team meetings, while following licensing requirements and agency procedures. This role requires a valid AZ driver’s license and ability to perform de-escalation techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Six months of related behavioral health experience preferred.
• 6 weeks of verifiable supervised behavioral health work experience preferred, the company will provide if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Attends to member’s physical and/or self-care needs, to include rendering emergency aid and reporting abuse when required.
• Implements treatment goals, including acquisition skills, replacement skills, and crisis management techniques.
• Collects and maintains consistent and reliable data, including daily behavior tracking and required reports.
• Adheres to licensing requirements for the site, program, and agency.
• Transports members to community locations and maintains vehicle documentation and cleanliness.
