Job summary

Intermountain Centers is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide direct care in residential or inpatient settings and in the community, implementing our applied behavioral program. The role involves ensuring safety, collecting data, and supporting treatment goals with Positive Behavioral Support.

Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma or GED (associates preferred) and have some related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Six months of related experience preferred; 6 weeks of supervised behavioral health work experience may be provided.
• Must meet licensing, safety, and program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attends to members' physical and self-care needs and reports abuse when required.
• Implements treatment goals and crisis management techniques using Positive Behavioral Support.
• Collects and maintains reliable individualized data and daily reports.
• Transports members to community locations and maintains vehicle records.
• Adheres to licensing requirements and maintains site cleanliness and safety.
• Follows medication protocols and conducts client training as needed.
• Attends required meetings and trainings and submits accurate hours.
