Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Department Coordinator to support the Warfighter Performance Department at the Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory in Groton, CT. You will coordinate project progress, communications, and administrative tasks under Government oversight.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, experience in a scientific research environment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based research tools. US citizenship and SECRET clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in a scientific research environment preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and web-based research tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be able to obtain SECRET clearance; US citizenship required.
• Experience coordinating documents, budgets, and schedules for research programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and summarize project progress with reports subject to government approval.
• Assist with project estimates, spending updates, and communications.
• Prepare, review, and disseminate internal/external documents.
• Track routing of research products and documentation.
• Coordinate SOPs and go-by documents for research activities.
• Support administrative, financial, logistical, and scheduling aspects of research.
