Job summary

PNC's Community Development Banking team seeks a Relationship Manager II based in Washington, DC to originate loans and investments that support affordable housing and neighborhood revitalization.

This role focuses on managing client relationships, assessing credit risk, and bringing the full spectrum of PNC products to clients, including loan origination, financial analysis, and collaboration with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, 5+ years of industry experience.
• Specific certifications are often required, in lieu of a degree comparable experience considered.
• Formal bank credit training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate relationship management activities to grow sales, revenue and market share with clients.
• Acquire/expand/retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet; handle origination, analysis, negotiation and documentation.
• Manage risk/return and drive quality for new/existing clients; mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.
• Provide ideas based on client needs and financial well-being; increase engagement and loyalty.
• Leverage internal/external relationships to acquire new clients and present full product range.
• Demonstrate ability to analyze, evaluate and mitigate credit risk for complex requests.
