As a Relationship Manager II within PNC’s Community Development Banking organization, you will be based in Scranton, PA.

Job Profile

PNC’s Community Development Banking team is dedicated to improving low‑to‑moderate income neighborhoods and the quality of life for low‑ and moderate‑income people. We meet community needs through community development loans, investments, financial education, and other technical expertise. In this role you will originate community development loans and investments while inspiring service partners to get involved. PNC provides non‑traditional capital for high‑impact development projects and reinvestment into local communities.

Job Description
  • Coordinate relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients in a book of business to grow sales, revenue, and market share with relevant sales goals. Typically works with clients with moderate levels of risk and complexity of needs under moderate supervision.
  • Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Handle the origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non‑credit products and services.
  • Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients. Actively identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.
  • Focus on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client’s needs and financial well‑being. Increase client engagement and loyalty.
  • Manage an effective network of internal and external relationships, such as community or industry relationships, to acquire new clients and expand existing clients, enhancing the client experience. Present the full range of PNC’s products and services and leverage reporting and sales tools to convert sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk for more complex requests by utilizing advanced credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.
