Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our Pittsburgh healthcare team. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs, implement interventions to maintain status, and improve quality of life in line with resident goals.

You will provide nutrition expertise to the care team, follow professional standards, collaborate across departments, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in dining and nutrition services.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the CDR or meets AND eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per the CDR portfolio process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and revising quality improvement programs.
