Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian for a healthcare team in Pittsburgh to assess and address patients’ nutritional needs and interventions, improving quality of life aligned with patient goals.

You will identify nutritional requirements, initiate care plans, and collaborate with staff to support dining services and nutrition programs in a hospital/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Pass national CDR exam or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
