Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to improve status, and enhance quality of life aligned with goals.

Responsibilities include providing nutritional expertise to the care team and education, adhering to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations, collaborating across departments to implement dining and nutrition

Qualifications

Passed a national examination by CDR or eligibility per Academy standards.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
Licensed or certified as required by state regulations.
Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
Bachelor’s degree in nutrition preferred.
Experience in healthcare or long-term care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
Participate in development and revision of quality improvement programs.
